Kelby is deeply passionate about dog training and the exciting world of dog sports. With a strong dedication to understanding canine behaviour and body language, she has earned her IMDT membership with distinction and holds a Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training, as well as additional certifications in Canine Behaviour Consulting and Fear Free practices.

Her journey into the world of dog training began with scent work alongside her American Staffordshire Terrier, Finn. What started as a fun activity quickly became a true passion, leading them to compete and inspiring Kelby to deepen her knowledge so she could teach this rewarding game to others. She loves showing people how activities like scent work can strengthen the bond with their dog and create a true sense of teamwork.

Today, Kelby shares her life with her partner Jamie, Finn, and the newest member of the family — Echo, a lively short-haired Border Collie. Together, they train and compete in scent work, tracking, hoopers, agility, tricks, and more. Through these adventures, Kelby and her dogs have built partnerships grounded in trust, joy, and mutual respect — and she’s passionate about helping others do the same.
