Indoor fun four week course designed for puppies who have had at least TWO vaccines and up to 6mths of age. Based in central Armadale. Classes run Tuesday evenings at 7.15pm. Numbers are strictly limited to ensure a positive experience for all. The focus of this course is building on training fundamental life skills around the distractions of other dogs and people. Helping to create focus and connection between you and your dog. Access to a private Facebook group is provided to share videos, receive training feedback and connect between classes.

Welcome to Dogs United Training Academy and Puppy High School Classes. This class is designed for puppies aged 14wks – 6mths and aims to get your dog working with you using the training methods of positive reinforcement and building connection, the foundation of all good training. Life skills covered in class are designed to stretch the training you may have already started. Class sizes are limited to ensure each dog gets enough distance from each other to be able to concentrate. The aim of this class is for dogs to focus on their handler in the presence of other dogs, not direct socialisation with other dogs. Below is some important information for you to review before our first class together. • Please do not attend class if you are feeling unwell • Attendees are limited to 2 people per puppy. You are welcome to take photos and video to share with your extended family. • Please look out for the invite to our private Facebook group where we can share handy hints and training videos. Please bring the following with you to class: • Your puppy! • High value treats (don't feed dinner before class). Treats need to be cut up small and be soft and easy for your dog to eat. They also need to be something your dog finds motivating we suggest trying some of the following: cooked chicken, Prime 100 dog roll, cheese. Remember to cut them up very small, around the size of your finger nail. • A bed / mat to help your puppy settle • Confirmation of your dogs vaccination history • Signed copy of the waiver (sent in a separate email) • Flat collar or harness and lead • An open mind, heart and sense of humour! • Location: Armadale Masonic Hall Corner of Church Ave & Fourth Road, parking is available on site, close to Foothills Animal Hospital • Please note once classes have started we are not able to offer refunds on classes not attended.
